Practise without limits !

Digital instruments allow players to practise as often as they want without causing annoyance to family, pets and neighbours. With the ability to control the output volume they also offer protection from hearing damage which can be caused by particularly loud acoustic instruments, such as drums.

Acoustic instruments sound great ! However they do not offer ambitious musicians, wanting to practice for hours a day, the practicalities and range of functionality that digital instruments will. Furthermore many digital instruments do not require tuning or maintenance encouraging sustained interest and higher performance.

Smaller, lighter and more versatile !

Digital instruments are often much smaller and lighter than their accoustic counterparts, in particular instruments such as drums and piano's which can now fit into playrooms and bedrooms.

Connecting with New Learning Technology

The quality of digital instruments has improved tremendously over the last few years and their functionality provides musicians with the ability to experiment with many different variations of an instrument type through a single unit t. For example a drummer having 25 different kits available to play through a single digital drum kit or a pianist having numerous types of piano and overlay effects such as reverb or delay. Most electronic instruments also support integration with laptops, IPod's / MP3 players and other interactive learning sources.
