Drums
When our son wanted to play the drums we thought it best to get an entry level acoustic kit from our local drum shop. The kit wasn't expensive and seemed good value, it was however very loud and soon we had to restrict when it could be played and for how long.
When he wanted to play along with his favourite music he had to turn his stereo right up which only made matters worse. Coupled with the kit going out of tune interest soon began to fade. Just before giving up, Richard talked us into trying a digital kit which allowed him to play along with his ipod on headphones and also the range of inbuilt kits and no tuning has allowed branching out into different genres. He now practices whenever he wants and plays along to youtube music videos as well as playing in a band and is progressing through his grades.

Some Key Terms
1) The minimum hire period is for 12 weeks.
2) These hire charges along with a refundable security deposit are payable upon placing your order.
3) Typical lead time between order and products being ready for collection is 1 week.
4) Customers collect and return hired products to Zeal Music Ltd, unless otherwise agreed.
5) Kits provided will not be brand new but will be in full working condition.
6) Security deposits are refunded following satisfactory inspection of hired products after return, please read our Terms and Conditions for full details.
7) Whilst on loan the hirer is responsible for insuring the products for their replacement value.
8) Whilst on loan the hirer is responsbile for replacing any broken strings on stringed products.
9) If you decide that you want to purchase a hire product /s there are options to do this and subject to the products in question you will recieve a discount depending on the hire charges paid, contact us to find out more details.

Piano
I thought that my daughter had lost interest in playing the piano, our upright piano had needed a tune for a while but it was getting played less and less so really there didn't seem much point. We were given the opportunity to rent a digital stage piano from Zeal and whilst there didn't seem much hope we thought we would have one more try. Wow - it was fantastic, great sound, different piano sounds, my daughter can practice on headphones and small enough to put in a bedroom, I even play it myself now !

We wanted to give our daughter the best chance to learn the guitar with a quality instrument but were apprehensive about investing heavily before we were sure that she would take to it. Richard at Zeal helped by providing a good quality guitar on a rental basis and after 3 months she still plays it all the time ! So we have just bought out the rental agreement.
